Help Save the Monarch Butterfly

Some very sad news has crossed the world this past Thursday, July 21st, as our beloved Monarch butterflies are officially on the “Red List”. The International Union for the Conservation of Nature (IUCN) added the Monarch butterfly to their endangered species list, as numbers have plummeted in the past few decades.

What Every Garden Needs for Hummingbirds, Bees, & Butterflies

We love seeing busy bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds flitting about the garden center as they pollinate our vast collection of plants. It tells us that the warm weather is here to stay and sunny days are ahead of us! You too can have these famed garden visitors in your neck of the woods by placing the blooms, foliage, and products they love to eat and drink from in your garden.

Summer Butterflies

They want to know how to kill whatever rascal is doing the damage. With a straight face and slight sternness in my voice, I quietly explain that those horrible caterpillars will soon morph into beautiful butterflies. But, first they need to eat. Oh, they quickly reply, smiling at the thought.
