Attention Hampton Roads! It’s fall y’all and there are lots of awesome events going on at the garden center these next few fabulous months. From pansies to pumpkins to making scarecrows, and more, there is something for everyone at McDonald Garden Center these next few months.

Mum’s the word! Mum mania is a great time to get excited for fall with some of the first blooms of the season. These fall blooms can jazz up your containers and help you get into the fall spirit. September 9th-11th, 2022, you can find great deals on mums and more at our year-round locations.
As one of our most anticipated events of the year, Make A Scarecrow is a charitable event that we host annually so we can donate a portion of the proceeds to benefit the The King’s Daughters, the founding organization of Children’s Hospital of The King’s Daughters (CHKD) mental health hospital. Come on out and support a great cause this September 17th-18th, 2022.
This event is for our favorite people: our customers! Stop by from 11am-2pm, Saturday, September 24th to grab a hotdog, chips, and a drink on us! Thank you for your continued support and love of McDonald Garden Center, we appreciate you!
One of our all-time favorite flowers is finally here for the season. Pansies are perfect for planting in garden beds, containers, and hanging baskets, so you never have to go a month without a beautiful, colorful, garden. Even through the coldest months of the year here in Hampton Roads! Join us October 7th-9th for deals on pansies and lots of other fall favorites.
Our grand finale to our fall events! Fall Fest is here to not only here to give great deals, but also provide a weekend of family fun with pumpkin painting, lawn games, and so much more. Stop by to enjoy a fun fall weekend with us at the garden center October 15th-16th, 2022
