This year we have a troop of trusted themes to get you in the holiday spirit early with our Christmas in the Greenhouse. From glitter and gold to tried and true reds and greens, we have multiple themes that will have your guests saying “wow!” when visiting for the holidays this year. - Luxury Chic -
Our first theme is stunning and classic. You will find Luxury Chic easily at both of our year-round locations as the glitter and gold shines from a mile away! If you love elements of elegance and sparkle in your christmas decor, this one is sure to fit your look with everything from classic orbs to tiny white reindeer and glittering stars.
- Winter Joy -
Even though Hampton Roads is not necessarily known for its “White Christmas” this theme will give your indoors that feeling of snow in the air. Our Winter Joy theme has tones of blue, white, and silver with a variety of decor pieces including ornaments, picks, mantle decor, and more to give your home that chilly look.
- Sweet Magnolia -
As one of the premiere trees for the holiday season, magnolia leaves and blooms can always be found at our garden centers. An absolute classic to the McDonald Garden Center Christmas Shoppe, the Virginia Cardinal theme honors our state bird in a display of red, white, and tones of tan. In conjunction with Virginia’s favorite flyer are some companions such as snowmen and deer that also fit this lovely, classic color scheme.

Can’t make it to Grandma’s for the holidays? Bring her house to yours with our Family Traditions theme. Nothing says a family holiday like tinsel, colorful lights, and hand-painted glass ornaments. This theme has all of those things and more with special lighting and other decorations that are sure to keep the family home for the holiday season.

This theme is no stranger to our Hampton Roads customers, as our hometown is practically surrounded by bodies of water! - Christmas Tree Farm -
Take a walk and pick out a tree for old times' sake. Although our Christmas Tree Farm is only lifelike, there is no hold on the magic it shows. This theme includes the very best of a green Christmas with decor elements, scents of pine and spruce, as well as a tree decorated with our favorite thing: tiny greenhouses!

Looking for something more macrame this holiday season? We have the perfect theme for the hand-made holiday lover. Our Merry Boho theme shares all things are woven, macrame, and rattan to give your holiday that trendy look that is just perfectly paired with plants. Dazzle your tree with macrame angels, wooden chandeliers, and knitted stockings for an all-new holiday look.
