McDonald Garden Center Market Managers will provide friendly customer-focused service at all times. This is a full-time seasonal position, which will be responsible for greeting customers at check-out and processing POS sales transactions in accordance with company policy and procedures. The Manager will assist customers with loading their purchases onto carts and coordinate customer lot assistance, as necessary. Must be detail-focused and organized in assisting customer needs. The position will be responsible for leading-managing-scheduling- and engaging with a team of 10 to 12 part-time Garden Market employees. The position will also require unloading deliveries, merchandising, and the pricing of merchandise for sale. Communication is key from each Garden Market Manager with their employee team as well as the Garden Market District Manager. A flexible schedule is required. Operational hours are Saturday through Friday 9am-6pm.
To qualify for this position, you should embrace a customer service-first attitude. Preferably, the ideal candidate will have at least 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar position with the ability to operate POS registers and scanners. Lifting and carrying up to 25-50 pounds is an essential requirement of this position.
