Welcome back landscapers! We’ve got a great landscape to showcase today and we think it’s something really special. The story of this project is very simple. The homeowners of this property were looking to create a shade garden, as their landscape was predominantly covered in shade. Our Director of Landscape, Daniel Van Dyke, selected the perfect blend of the homeowner’s preferences, shade-compatible plant varieties, and maintenance expectations.
Sometimes finding the best use for your landscape can be challenging. For these homeowners, they’ve had their own fair share of problems with one side of their property.
Pothos, philodendrons, anthuriums, peace lilies, and zz plants are all members of the Araceae family (aka the Arum family), also known as “aroids.” No other group of plants can compare to the extravagant and exotic foliage exhibited by Araceae.
